Emily Tarjick of Hoosac Valley High School was awarded the third annual Carol Craighead Memorial Scholarship Award, which is awarded in memory of Carol Craighead, a Berkshire County ARC board member, volunteer and supporter of more than 40 years.

An independent panel of community members consisting of Daniel Dillon, relationship development officer of Greylock Federal Credit Union; Shirley Edgerton, of the state Department of Developmental Services, and June Hailer, advocate for United Cerebral Palsy of Berkshire County were part of the panel that selected the winners. Funds for the scholarships were raised through Berkshire County ARC's Annual Golf Classic.
