Camp Russell open house: The Boys & Girls Club of Pittsfield will host an open house at Camp Russell, 341 Boys Club Road, Richmond, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
This event is free and open to the public. Campers who register will be asked to sign a "bully-free zone" pledge. Then all will have the opportunity to enjoy mini-golf, tag ball, swimming, four-square and other games. There will also be hot dogs and hamburgers available. Information: (413) 448-8258.
ACE grant: Applications are being accepted for the Adams-Cheshire Educational (ACE) Partnership grant fund. The endowed fund is designed to support people and projects that enrich the educational experience of students and teachers in the Adams-Cheshire Regional School District. Students, teachers, administrators and community members are all eligible to apply for grants, which generally range from $100 to $1,000.

Fun with butterflies: Project Native, which is partnering with the Berkshire Museum on its butterfly pavilion, also has a Butterfly House on its property at 342 North Plain Road (Route 41), Housatonic.
The Project Native Butterfly House, featuring native caterpillars and butterflies, will officially open on Saturday. It will be open daily, 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Project Native will also host throughout the summer free bug and butterfly safaris for participants to try and catch butterflies and bugs on the organization's nature trails. Saturday's safari will be held from 10:30 to noon. Information: projectnative.org or (413) 274-3433.
'Bike Rodeo': The Kiwanis Club of Pittsfield will host a free AAA Southern New England "Bike Rodeo and Family Safety Day" from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday at Clapp Park on West Housatonic Street, Pittsfield. June 29 is the rain date.
Families are invited to bring their bicycles and ride through a bike course. There will also be representatives showing a fire truck and police car and ambulance to visitors. Guests can also meet with a personal fitness trainer and dental hygienist and learn about various children's health programs. There will be food and snacks. Participants can register to win a free bicycle.

IS183 art camps: This summer, kids can go on an adventure with creative camps, classes, workshops and playgroups for ages 3 to 18, with IS183 Art School of the Berkshires.
For ages 3 and 4, half-day camps will be offered weekly, from Monday through Aug. 15, in Stockbridge; or creative playgroups on Wednesday and Saturday mornings in Williamstown in July.
For ages 5 to 10, week-long camps from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. are offered at both sites. For ages 11 to 18, there are a mix of offerings including two-week camps in Stockbridge and, in Williamstown, one-day workshops and month-long classes in various media.
