Craft fair: Railroad Street Youth Project invites the community to stop by between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday at its drop-in center on Bridge Street in Great Barrington, for the "Generation Handmade: Youth Craft Fair."
Created and funded by RSYP's Youth Operational Board (YOB), the project is designed to offer a free space for young artisans, ages 14 to 25, to build small creative businesses, so they can begin to participate in the local economy.
Education policy fellowship: The Rennie Center has extended the deadline for those interested in applying to the 2014-15 Massachusetts Education Policy Fellowship Program (EPFP) to July 15.
The 10-month development program is for mid-career professionals in education and related fields. Fellows in the program develop skills and knowledge in the areas of leadership, public policy and networking.
The program begins with an overnight retreat, Sept. 5 through 6, in Ashland. Fellows then meet monthly, on Tuesdays in Boston, for dinner meetings from September to June, and participate in one state and one national meeting. Information: northeastern.
'Free Fun Fridays': Tanglewood in Lenox and Mass MoCA in North Adams will kick off the Highland Street Foundation's Free Fun Fridays program this Friday.

Tanglewood's "Family Fun Fest" will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. It will include an instrument playground, scavenger hunt, cooking demos, crafts and more. Though free, registration is required; (413) 637-5393 or via tanglewood.org /familyfunfest.
Mass MoCA will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tours will be at 11 a.m.; 1, 2, 3 and 4 p.m.; the ArtBar will be open and drop-in art-making will be offered in Kidspace. There will be a scavenger hunt and a surprise art activity from 1 to 3 p.m.
Eagles Band dates: The Eagles Band ensembles will perform 11 free, public concerts in celebration of their 78th year.
An outdoor concert will be performed tonight at 7 at Springside Park in Pittsfield. Bring a blanket or chair and picnic. In the event of rain, Springside Park concerts will be held at the First United Methodist Church on Fenn Street.

'Welcome to Kindergarten': Though this school year is over, families with young children can celebrate getting ready for the first day of kindergarten from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield.
"WeeMuse: Welcome to Kindergarten," presented in partnership with Pittsfield's Transition Team, is free and open to the community. Children can take a ride on a school bus or practice packing their backpack. There will be model classrooms and school activities to explore. Education staff will answer questions about the kindergarten registration process, child development milestones and how parents can prepare a child for school.
