Williams College alumnus Michael Blanding ('95), author of "The Map Thief: the gripping story of an esteemed rare-map dealer who made millions stealing priceless maps," will at 4 p.m. today, discuss his book as part of the Williams College "Tuesday Teas" series, in the Sawyer Library Archives/Chapin instruction room 452.

Blanding is a Boston-based investigative journalist and is currently a senior fellow at the Schuster Institute for Investigative Journalism at Brandeis University and a staff writer at Harvard Business School.

The Institute of International Education, in partnership with the Western Union Foundation, is accepting applications through 3 p.m. on May 25, for the Family Scholarship Program.

The program provides two members of an immigrant family, currently living in the United States, with up to $5,000 in scholarship funds that may be used for college tuition, language acquisition classes, technical training and GED classes.

Williams College will present a free, public screening of the film "Roshmia," followed by a Q&A with director Salim Abu Jabal, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, in the Paresky Auditorium. The documentary is in Arabic with English subtitles.

It delves into the intricacies of everyday life and struggles of an elderly, childless Palestinian refugee couple as they desperately cling to their home in Roshmia Valley in Haifa.
