Berkshire South Regional Community Center, located at 15 Crissey Road, Great Barrington, will host from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, a "Bubble Fun" event, as part of its "Parents' Night Out" series. Parents can drop off their kids, ages 3 to 12, for a fun night at the center, while parents enjoy a little break. The cost is $15 for members, $17 for guests, and includes a pizza dinner, swimming, and bubble-themed games and art. Parents should register their children for the night out by Wednesday, and send along a swimsuit, towel and change of clothes. Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center, 14 Castle St., Great Barrington, will present a Free Fun Friday this week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., as part of the statewide Highland Street Foundation series.

Beloved Berkshire entertainer David Grover and Grover's Gang will celebrate family favorite songs with a concert at 10. At 1 p.m., the classic 1964 musical film, "Mary Poppins" will be screened, singing along encouraged. In addition, there will be face painting, chalk painting, arts and crafts in the theater, as well some pop-up surprises throughout the day. Admission is free and the event is open to the public.
