As summer programs wrap up, the yellow buses chartering the county's public school students have begun revving up for their weekday runs, ushering kids and teens to and from schools.

Families should keep in touch with their student's respective schools to find out helpful events that can set the tone for the year, such as orientation events, school tours, family nights, parent-teacher conferences, and college convocation programs.
