LENOX Police are investigating the theft of a number of video games from the Community Center on Walker Street.According to Police Chief Steven O'Brien, police were alerted at about 9 a.m. on July 15 of the theft. Police believe the thief or thieves entered the Community Center sometime between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. the previous night and made off with several PlayStation video game consoles and control boards.
The video games were nearly brand-new, said O'Brien, and were purchased through a gift from a local community organization.
A group of local residents have offered a reward for anyone helping to recover the items, said O'Brien. Officer Timothy Sheehan is investigating the theft. Anyone with information can contact the Lenox Police Department at (413) 637-2346.
