If Senator Scott Brown is such a supporter of women (Eagle op-ed, Aug. 24) how in his conscience can he belong to a political party that has waged a relentless war on women for the past four years? How come he supports a party whose obstructionism has prevented the Job Act to be enacted and that would have helped women and the economic problems that he bemoans? It is not how you vote on occasion that is important to women, it is the policies you endorse by your affiliations to your party that matter.

The contradiction is astounding! How can anyone believe his sudden ardent enthusiasm for women's causes? Maybe he should consider changing party if women's causes are that important to him.
