Why Brown failed in Berkshires

Shortly after Scott Brown was elected senator I attended a luncheon at which he was invited to speak. After his speech, there was a question and answer period. I asked him if he knew why only one town in Berkshire County had voted for him. He didn’t have an answer.

I told him that I had a theory. What was it, he asked? My answer was that town doesn’t read The Berkshire Eagle.
