Last month, the minutes on my Safe Link phone were canceled. I was told I was not making calls at least once a month. That wasn’t true, as that is my only phone and I use it every day.

I knew what was going to happen when I called Safe Link. It had outsourced its work to India. I worked myself into a tizzy because they talk too fast and with an accent. Needless to say, I lost my temper and started yelling. I know it is not their fault, it’s the company that moved the jobs over there because it is cheaper. I don’t think that is right because of our jobless numbers.

I’m a senior citizen and don’t think it’s right to send jobs to different countries. I worked a long time to be able to collect Social Security. Leave jobs here so men and women don’t have to give up their homes that they worked so hard for.

It’s just not fair to the Americans who have been laid off or fired. I’m proud to be an American but we need to find ways to keep jobs here.
