Why are there stop signs on East New Lenox Road where it crosses Sackett Brook?
They were put up when Jersey barriers were put in place to address a weakened guard rail on the west side of the road. However, the reduced road width doesn’t look any narrower than the railroad underpass on Hubbard Avenue, which sees much more traffic. (No, I am not suggesting we add stop signs at the underpass on Hubbard Avenue.)
Wouldn’t a "narrow bridge" at Sackett Brook be sufficient?
