Just a letter to express my frustration with Social Society and our do-nothing government. In 1935, the government put into law the Social Security Act to address the dangers of old age, like poverty and the burdens of widows. It was to be funded through dedicated payroll taxes, half by employees and half by employers. Today it is the only solvent fund that the government has. Government borrows from our fund to pay for its mistakes. Can we borrow from their funds and pensions?

I say find other sources. Give up your salaries to pay down the debt both parties created.

I quote from Thomas Jefferson: "I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them."
