Pressure House on Violence Act

The Senate passed the Violence Against Women Act. The House of Representatives took a week’s recess instead of taking action. It is important that this bill be passed!

The Berkshire Unit of Christian Women United is urging everyone to contact their representatives on this issue. Berkshire County representative Richard Neal has endorsed the bill. Eagle readers in other districts should be sure their elected representatives know how urgent this vote will be.
