To the editor of THE EAGLE:

In education, our society is starting to create a culture that is based on distrust. We want to have complete and objective accountability, which has created national curriculums on testing and less local control. A radical and simple counter to this is to hire people you trust and let them do their jobs.

Where does this viewpoint come from? Not Karl Marx, not John Dewey but from that flaming radical Warren Buffett. Trust of management and workers he states outweigh whatever risk they might help mitigate. We should try such an approach in our schools.
