To the editor of THE EAGLE:

White collar crime does pay. Ask any banker or corporate CEO. Not only does crime pay, but they get rewarded for committing the crime. Salaries have nearly doubled since 2008. It’s no wonder we cannot compete with foreign-made merchandise.

No top banker or corporate executive stood trail for the 2008 financial crises. They would rather pay the large penalty at the expense of the shareholders and not be charged with committing a crime, avoiding a jail sentence.

Guess who created this situation?
