To the editor of THE EAGLE:

It suggests that "something is rotten in the state of Denmark" (Hamlet 1, 4) when a corporation persists in its application to inflict a major development on a landmark Berkshire mansion on a quiet, residential scenic road when almost all the residents of that road and many of the towns of Stockbridge and Lenox object strongly for many reasons but above all for not disturbing the environment of the Berkshire hills.

The revenue that the development will attract may look attractive but our majority second homers who contribute a significant share of the towns’ real estate taxes will certainly not be happy. I urge all residents to lift your voices in protest.
