MCLA baseball field in shameful shape

To the editor:

As an alumnus of North Adams State College, I find it disturbing that the current baseball field is in poor shape.

I remember back in the 1980s when it was one of the best fields in the MASCAC. I find it appalling that it is now, in my opinion, the worst.

The Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts baseball field baseball field is getting to the point where it's not playable in the spring. It's a shame when you have a home game scheduled and you have to travel to the opponent's home field to play.

I encourage the administration to step up and address this problem. Please for the sake of the baseball program, invest money in a baseball facility that current and former players can be proud of. As of today, the baseball field is, in my opinion, is a disgrace.
