Many fond memories of the Busy Bee
To the editor:
Jim Shulman's Nov. 12 column brought back fond memories of having lunch at the Busy Bee restaurant in the early 1950s.
I would take a quick lunch break from the Eaton Paper Mill along with the late Rita Baumagartner, who introduced us to that delicious brown sauce. Sitting at the bar side of the restaurant, we always order a side order of macaroni shells, which was plenty.
I always wondered how I could make that delicious brown sauce. Reading his article, I would never have all the leftover juices to do it.
