Sad that so many buy Trump's act
To the editor:
The audacity of anyone appealing to us by yelling "I am your voice," as Trump recently did at a rally, is enough for me to turn my back on him.
The notion that a self-proclaimed multimillionaire, ensconced high above Manhattan's prime real estate, has the temerity to put yet another feather in his narcissistic cap by running for president ought to be beyond the pale of human imagination. How sad that so many — not just poor white, frustrated and disenchanted — are taken in by it.
It is as tragic as it is unbelievable.
