Favorable media coverage boosts Clinton campaign

To the editor:

Hillary Clinton's campaign needs the press to see her though the election. No reason to feign independence or impartiality of purpose. The Eagle has always been friendly to the campaign and should be counted on to keep the lid on negative news about the candidate.

WikiLeaks revelations show the press is in Clinton's back pocket. There was a day when the press actually was the watchdog for the public against the powerful and corrupt. Now, apparently, it is part of the corruption.
