Today is Veterans Day, a holiday marked with ceremonies all over the Berkshires.

Current and former U.S. military personnel will be further recognized at a classic-country music concert Friday, Nov. 23, at 8 p.m. at the Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield.

Sponsored by The Berkshire Eagle and Berkshire Bank, it will feature local band The Spurs USA as headliners, with Bobby Sweet; Whiskey City’s Beth Maturevich and Randy Cormier; Peter Putnam; and Cindy Rines also on the bill.
