North Adams Green Drinks, a gathering of people interested in conservation and environmental issues, will be held Wednesday, Sept. 12, starting at 5:30 p.m., at Freight Yard Pub, Western Gateway Heritage Park.

There will be a short presentation on an environmental issue at 6:30 p.m. Previous presentations have covered rivers, food and local agriculture, and bicycling for transportation.

Sponsored by Berkshire Environmental Action Team and Northern Berkshire Transition, North Adams Green Drinks is a very informal gathering, open to everyone with any environmental interest.

The meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
