The Jewish Federation of the Berkshires will present the program, "What’s It Really Like in Iran?" with Stephen Radin at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20, at Congregation Knesset Israel, 16 Colt Road.
Open to the public, and at a cost of $3, the program will focus on cultures, religions, and history, with an emphasis on archeology, particularly 1800 BC to 337 AD, from the time of Abraham through the time of Constantine.
Having visited the Middle East 16 times, Radin will take his audience exploring through Israel, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon as well as Iran, with a wide-ranging discussion following his presentation.
