The Williams College Department of Music will present Elizabeth Morse in a harp recital at 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, in Brooks-Rogers Recital Hall on the college campus. The event is free and open to the public.
Together with harpsichordist Edwin Lawrence, Morse will perform the Concerto in B flat by George Fridric Handel. In a unique performance, the musicians will add their own ornamentation to Handel’s score. Collaborating with percussionist Casey McLellan ‘14, Morse will present three pieces by American composer Lou Harrison.
Morse is principal harpist of the Berkshire Symphony and artist associate in harp at Williams College.
