Bird Walks at Canoe Meadows, sponsored by Berkshire Sanctuaries, will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, at Canoe Meadows Wildlife Sanctuary, Holmes Road.

The walk will be led by Noreen Mole, past president of the Hoffmann Bird Club.

The event is free for Mass Audubon members and $3 for non-members.

Preregistration is not required. Binoculars are recommended; beginners are welcome.
