B.A. Shapiro, author of the New York Times best-selling novel "The Art Forger," will appear at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9, at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute as part of the ongoing Profession of Words Author Series.
Shapiro will read from and discuss "The Art Forger." A question-and-answer session and book signing will follow this free program.
The Profession of Words series celebrates writers who are making a career in the difficult business of creating books.
"The Art Forger" is a work of fiction centered on artist Claire Roth and set around the actual theft of 13 works of art from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston in 1990.
