Expert scientific researcher Ricardo Castanon, president and researcher of Grupo Internacional para la Paz in Bolivia, a non-profit group of self-financed research professionals who investigate mystical phenomena, will present "Eucharistic Miracles: A Dialogue Between Science Faith" from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy.

For two decades, Castanon has traveled the world investigating Catholic mystical phenomena and conducting scientific tests to prove or disprove them. He has been called on by the Vatican to conduct investigations on its behalf.

The event will begin with a presentation by Castanon at 4 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session that ends at 6 p.m. He then will be available for a short period of time to sign copies of his books. Sign-in begins at 3:30 p.m., with light refreshments available.

The cost is $9 per person or $35 for four. The fee is waived for clergy, religious, and students.
