Students who reside in the Central Berkshire Regional School District (Becket, Cummington, Dalton, Hinsdale, Peru, Washington or Windsor) and are interested in vocational education for the 2013-2014 school year must submit a Chapter 74 Vocational Technical Education Nonresident Tuition Application form signed by their parent or legal guardian to the office of the Superintendent of Schools prior to April 1, 2013.
A student who is currently attending Nessacus Regional Middle School or Wahconah Regional High School may make contact through his/her respective guidance office; however, the tuition form must still be received by the superintendent’s office before April 1, 2013.
Students in grade 8 and above, who do not currently attend Nessacus or Wahconah but live in the district should contact the office of the superintendent directly; however, the tuition form must still be received by the superintendent’s office before April 1,2013.
Failure to meet this requirement may result in the superintendent’s disapproval of the student to enroll in a vocational program.
The Central Berkshire Regional School Committee, acting at the request of the elected officials from the towns of Dalton and Washington, has formally designated the vocational-technical programs of Taconic and Pittsfield High Schools as preferred sites for these towns’ vocational-technical students.
