Clarksburg residents should be receiving the annual town census in the mail by mid-January.
Residents should review the information as of Jan. 1 for accuracy and make any changes as needed. To add a resident, include their name and date of birth. Sign and return the census in 10 days.
Residents cannot register to vote or change party enrollment on the census.
Dog licenses for 2013 are also available. Dogs are required to be licensed annually by April 1. A current rabies certificate must be on file or provided by the dog owner. Licensing fees are $5 for spayed/neutered dogs, $12 for all others.
Fishing and sporting licenses are no longer available for purchase at the town clerk’s office due to changes in state law.
