Thanks to a grant from the Lee Cultural Council, Community Access to the Arts, brings 33 works of art created by artists with disabilities to the Lee Library, 100 Main St., from Jan. 7 to 31.
A reception honoring the artists will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. The public is welcome to this free event.
The exhibit features a wide range of mediums and techniques including abstract paintings using A.R.T. (Artistic Realization Technologies), a unique method of painting for people with severe physical disabilities.
CATA Art on Tour is funded in part by Rhee Kasky and Bill Cohn. To learn more about CATA, visit www.communityaccesstothearts.org.
