The Mount Greylock Ski Club will be the topic of a free lecture at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Williamstown Historical Museum located in the Milne Public Library.

Mary Merselis of Williamstown joined the club with her family when they moved to town in 1965. Her lecture will trace the history of the club, which has been in operation in Goodell Hollow, South Williamstown, for about 75 years.

Its founding members included engineers from General Electric Co. in Pittsfield; some members were involved in the formation of the National Ski Patrol and the making of the Thunderbolt trail on Mount Greylock.
