Wild Oats Market is bringing in two experts on whole foods and nutrition to offer classes on a raw food diet and a macrobiotic diet.
"Following a Raw Food Diet: An Introduction to Plant-Based and Live Nutrition" will be presented by Louise Binette from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19.
Additional classes on raw food nutrition will be offered if interest is expressed.
"Introduction to Macrobiotic Cooking," parts 1 and 2, will be presented by Leanne Yinger, a graduate of The Kushi Institute. Part 1 will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, and Part 2 on Saturday, Feb. 9, both from 10 to 11 a.m. Participants may sign up for one or both classes.
Each class costs $5 and includes samples and handouts.
