The Jewish Federation of the Berkshires will present teacher, journalist, and bibliophile Hugh Black’s program, "A Discussion of the Works of Cynthia Ozick," at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7, at Congregation Knesset Israel, 16 Colt Road.
Ozick, the author of over 40 books ranging from novels to collections of short stories, is a winner of the National Humanities Medal.
Black will bring to the fore Ozick’s novels "The Puttermesser Papers" and "Heir to the Glimmering World," as well as her collection "The Din in the Head: Essays."
The program is open to the public at a cost of $3.
