The Board of Selectmen voted on Feb. 20 to combine the annual town election with the State Primary Election to be held on April 20.

Registered voters will be voting for town officials and Democratic and Republican candidates for the U.S. Senate seat vacated by John Kerry.

Town nomination papers are available in the town clerk’s office for the following offices: Moderator; Board of Selectmen; School Committee; Board of Assessors; Board of Health; Housing Authority; and Planning Board.

Signed nominations papers must be returned to the town clerk’s office by Tuesday, March 12.
