The Tax Collector has announced that the water and sewer bills for the first quarter of 2013 are due Friday, March 8.
Schedule water and sewer bills cover the period of January, February and March 2013. Metered water and sewer bills cover the period of October, November and December 2012.
Any payment not received by Friday, March 8, will be liable for an 8 percent penalty on the total bill.
To assure proper credit, be sure the coupon is sent with the check in the self-addressed envelope provided with the bill.
Payments are to be mailed with the coupon to the City of Pittsfield, P.O. Box 981063, Boston, MA 02298-1063 or they can be paid in person at the Collector’s Office at City Hall weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Payments should be mailed five days prior to the due date to have the payment arrive on time.
