The Berkshire Concert Choir, directed by Carlton Maaia II, will present Franz Liszt’s Lenten piece "Via Crucis" (Way of the Cross) and works of J.S. Bach and Carlo Gesualdo, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 29 Main St.
The other pieces include Liszt’s "Ave verum corpus," Bach’s "Dona nobis pacem" and "Crucifixus" from the B-minor Mass, Gesualdo’s "O vos omnes," and Liszt’s "Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen: Prelude after Bach" for piano.
Soloists for this performance will be John Demler, bass, and Marcella Bradway, mezzo-soprano. Glenda Phillips will accompany the choir on piano.
There will be a free will offering at the door; $10 per person suggested.
