David E. "Ned" Lazaro will present an illustrated talk, "’Faith, Figures and Francs’: American patronage of Charles Frederick Worth," at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, at the Berkshire Athenaeum.

Lazaro’s talk will explore the House of Worth and its history with an emphasis on American clients and their dresses, including the Kimball-Salisbury gown in the Berkshire Historical Society’s collection currently on view at Arrowhead.

Lazaro is the collections manager and associate curator of textiles at Historic Deerfield.

The Friends of the Berkshire Athenaeum are sponsoring this free lecture inspired by the Berkshire Historical Society’s current exhibit "The Kimball-Salisbury Women: Chicago to Tor Court, 1870-1930."
