In celebration of Women’s History Month, Professor Janell Hobson of the University at Albany, SUNY, will present a talk, "Body as Evidence: Raced and Erased Subjects in Digital Media," at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19.
The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be held in Room 218, Murdock Hall on the MCLA campus. The event is sponsored by the Office of Academic Affairs and the Women’s Studies Program.
Hobson is the assistant professor of Women’s Studies at SUNY Albany, and has taught at the university since 2002. Hobson is the author of several articles; she also writes a blog for Ms. magazine.
