Cheshire: Dog licenses due April 1

The 2013 dog licenses are now available at the town clerk’s office and are due April 1.

The fees are $15 for male/female and $5 for neutered male/spayed female. Proof of current rabies vaccination must be shown.

The clerk’s hours are Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Dogs not licensed by June 1 will have a $15 late fee added to the cost of the license.

In addition, copies of the proposed telecommunications town by-law are available at the town clerk’s office during business hours. This proposed zoning by-law will be voted on at the Annual Town Meeting on June 10.
