The Berkshire Museum Camera Club will host world famous photographer John Stanmeyer at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2. Admission is free and open to the public.
Stanmeyer has worked globally and lived in the Far East far over 12 years, witnessing nearly every major historical event in Asia. He has focused on the plight of refugees from the Ugandan civil war, spent months chronicling the effects of the 2004 Tsunami.
He works regularly for the National Geographic and was under contract with Time Magazine for over 10 years. He has recently moved back to the U.S. and now lives on a farm in the Berkshires.
