Bryanna Rose Wetherell, daughter of Warren J. Wetherell and Carol Strout of Hinsdale, received academic honors at Westfield State University by making the dean's list for the fall 2012 semester. A freshman, Wetherell is majoring in criminal justice.
James F. Nowak Jr. of Cheshire has been named to the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute School of Engineering dean's list for the fall 2012 semester. A sophomore mechanical engineering major, he is performing research in additive manufacturing of nanofibers. His grade point average is 3.97.
Makayla Skubel of Plainfield has been named to the dean's honor list at Sage College of Albany, N.Y., for the fall 2012 semester. Dean's honor list requires a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30.
Sara Scorpa, the daughter of John and Carol Scorpa of Lanesborough, has been named to the dean's list at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn., for the fall 2012 semester. Dean's list requires a minimum grade point average of 3.6.
Scorpa is majoring in exercise science/physical therapy. She is a graduate of Mount Greylock Regional High School in Williamstown.
