John Andrews: A Farmhouse Restaurant in South Egremont will celebrate the work of young chefs in the Railroad Street Youth Project’s Culinary Apprenticeship Program (RAP) with a "Farm to Spring Table" culinary dinner and fundraiser at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24.

RSYP, a community-based non-profit, provides programs, support services and a drop-in center for teens and young adults in South County.

Chef-owner and RAP mentor Dan Smith of John Andrews will host Railroad Street’s celebration kickoff featuring a five-course seasonal tasting menu selected, prepared and presented by RSYP young chefs. The evening will include a reception, raffle and student certificate presentation.

Tickets for the fundraiser dinner are $100 per person.

In addition to the dinner, a special Jazz Brunch at The Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge on Sunday, April 28, and a Cinco de Mayo celebration on Sunday, May 5, at Rubi’s in Great Barrington will support RSYP’s efforts.
