The 13th annual Sheffield Fair and Sheffield in Celebration will take place Friday and Saturday, Sept. 6 and 7.
Friday’s events include the Farmers Market and CornFest offering family fun from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Old Parish Church parking lot off Route 7. Jack Sobon, nationally recognized expert on traditional timber-framing, will speak at 7:30 p.m. at the Bushnell-Sage Library.
The Sheffield Fair will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, rain or shine at the Town Park off Miller Avenue.
The fair will include food, music, vendors, children’s activities, a fire truck, animals, an apple pie contest, the annual Showmanship and Fitting Competition, zip line and vertical playground, a bike ride, bagpipe concert, and steak roast.
