The St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing will hold a reunion for all members on Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Crowne Plaza. The all day event will be co-chaired by Betty Chludzinski and Arlene McCauley.
Included will be a luncheon, business meeting, Mass, and dinner. In addition, rooms will display historical photos and other memorabilia that the group has accumulated over the years.
Lucille Horton has contributed dolls dressed in various uniforms worn by St. Luke’s student nurses. The display will also include actual uniforms worn over the years. The historical portion is being chaired by Patricia Boudreau and Mary Kay McClintock. McCauley will be coordinating the Mass.
A booklet, which will be distributed at the event, contains a whimsical story by Laurie Forfa and a history updated by Boudreau.
Handouts will be coordinated by Mary Martinelli; registration will be co-chaired by Gail Bolduc and Mary Fenwick. Marie Shelsy has coordinated various mailings.
McClintock and Irene Aquino also will deliver gifts to alumni members who are currently in area nursing homes.
