The Nutrition Center will be delivering four healthy cooking classes at The Christian Center in October.
These classes are free and open to the public, and will cover topics such as "Cooking on a Budget," "Creating a Balanced Meal," "Eating for Hypertension and High Blood Pressure," and "Eating for Diabetes."
The one-hour classes will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Christian Center’s kitchen, and will be taught by The Nutrition Center’s Culinary Coach Morgan Kulchinsky. Healthy cooking classes will take place on Oct. 3, 10, 17, and 24.
The classes at The Christian Center are made possible by a grant from The City of Pittsfield Human Services Advisory Council.
The Christian Center will serve as one of three sites for these classes.
