The Trustees of Reservations announces that the William Cullen Bryant Homestead will be open to the public for tours free of charge from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29.
The Homestead is off Route 112, 1.5 miles south of Route 9. On that day, all of The Trustees historic homes will be open free to the public. More information may be obtained at www.thetrustees.org.
Also on Sept. 29, Wistaria Chamber Music Society will hold a benefit concert, "Music in the Hay Mow," from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the red barn. The concert is free but donations are suggested to support the Bryant Homestead.
The concert is titled "American Visions" and includes pieces by Ungar, O’Connor, Copland, Foster, and Dvorak.
