Berkshire Health Systems will present "Thinking Ahead: Communicating Your Medical Wishes and Values," a free breakfast program, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the Country Club of Pittsfield.
Speakers include Dr. Eve Block, division chief of Palliative Medicine for BMC, Dr. Mark Pettus, BHS director of Wellness and Population Health, and Sister Colette Hanlon, BMC chaplain.
The topics include communicating medical wishes, health care proxies, planning early, advanced care planning, and MOLST (Massachusetts Medical Orders for Life Sustaining Treatment).
