The Greylock A Better Chance program will hold its 20th annual giant clothing sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at First Congregational Church, 906 Main St. Credit cards and debit cards will be accepted.
Items include name brand gently-used clothing, accessories, shoes, jewelry and watches, vintage/retro clothing, costumes, athletic clothing and shoes, and clothing with a Williams College theme.
All have been donated by local individuals. Donations are no longer being accepted.
Shoppers are encouraged to come early and bring their own large plastic bags for accumulating bargains.
The Red Carpet Rome features the finest women’s clothing, purses, shoes, and scarves.
The Men’s Den, a new feature, offers the best men’s clothing, shoes, and accessories, many with designer labels.
At 2 p.m., after the sale closes, shoppers can purchase a large bag for $20 and fill it with whatever items remain.
The clothing sale helps to support six academically talented students of color who live in Williamstown during the school year and attend Mount Greylock Regional High School. During the academic year, they live in a house which the chapter owns on Hoxsey Street and are supervised by resident directors.
