The Dalton Free Public Library will host an overview of the Massachusetts Statewide Databases at 10:30 a.m. and again at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2.
The training is part of a series called "Tech Wednesday" or "Computer Training for the Rest of Us."
Designed for adults and high school students, the 45 minute sessions will highlight the 33 online collections available for research with a library card.
Participants will learn how to navigate the databases by subject, how to save searches, build lists of articles, how to cite research, and more.
This is the first in a planned series of workshops offered on library resources available free of charge for research and entertainment when the library may be closed.
Registration is not required, but participants are asked to bring their own laptop or tablet due to a limited number of library computers.
