Construction work at Berkshire Medical Center in mid-October will impact the drop-off parking area in front of the hospital.
From Friday, Oct. 18, through Tuesday, Oct. 22, the traffic circle in front of the main entrance will be closed to all vehicular traffic.
Walk-in access to the main entrance will not be affected, but patients being dropped off by car will be directed to an adjacent entrance near the circle.
Valet parking services will continue to be provided from the alternate drop-off area and the first floor of the Medical Arts Complex.
There will be no changes in accessing the hospital’s entrances from the sidewalk areas. This change will only impact on vehicular traffic, which will not be able to use the circle for patient drop-off.
Staff will be on hand throughout the construction to help direct traffic to the alternate drop-off location and to assist patients, as needed.
